This page aims to provide you with quick and clear answers to the most common questions about my artwork, products, ordering process, postage, and more.

  • How do you create your paintings & illustrations?

    Typically I choose to paint with Gouache, which is a water-based paint. It is similar to watercolour but is opaque and highly pigmented, meaning it has better coverage and depth of colour. I love working with this media, but also dabble with acrylics, pens, pencils, pastels and digital illustration.

  • How are your Giclée prints made?

    After completing my original painting and any editing I want to make, I send the image to a local printer who creates printed reproductions of my work known as Giclée art prints. These are created using a high-end inkjet printer, archival - quality pigment based inks and acid free fine art paper, ensuring depth of colour and detail that make it hard to tell apart from the original painting. Superior to all other forms of reproduction printing, they last 100+ years without significant fading.

  • Do you take on commission work?

    I am always open to hearing from you on any commission work you’d be interested in collaborating on, please just get in touch!

  • How long will my order take?

    Your order is fulfilled in 1-2 days and then delivery takes anywhere between 1-4 days depending on the service you choose. Please bear in mind that fine art prints are made to order and any potential delays with the printer are outside of my control, however, I always endeavour to communicate this well with you.

  • What delivery service do you use?

    I use Royal Mail for all orders, with the options of 1st Class, 2nd Class and Signed For, depending on your requirements.

  • I live locally to you. Do I still need to pay for delivery?

    If you are local to Launceston, Cornwall, regardless of whether you know me, I am more than happy to arrange local collection. When placing your order, simply choose the ‘Meet in person’ option at checkout and then send me an email to get the conversation started!

  • Do you post internationally?

    Presently I only accept orders and post within the UK. With recent new regulations (GSPR), I’ve not yet explored all options when it comes to selling internationally, but hope to do so in the future.

  • Can I cancel an order?

    If for any reason you wish to cancel an order, please contact me within 24hrs and I will happily do so before fulfilling your order, ensuring your payment is refunded.

  • Can I return an item?

    I want nothing more than for you to be happy with your purchase. If you’re unsatisified with an order for any reason, I welcome you to get in touch, however I cannot accept returns.
